IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING RESIDENTIAL CONFERENCES

NYSAIS hosts all of its residential conferences at the Mohonk Mountain House unless otherwise specified on an event’s registration page. Upon successful completion of a registration for a NYSAIS residential conference, each attendee will receive an email confirmation that includes the necessary information to register with Mohonk. Please note: your NYSAIS residential conference registration DOES NOT include a room at Mohonk. All conference attendees must (1) reserve a guest room at Mohonk OR (2) complete a Day Guest Form. This is a Mohonk Mountain House policy. Both options will be included in the attendee confirmation email.

NYSAIS strongly recommends that residential conference attendees register with Mohonk immediately after completing their NYSAIS registration, as rooms at Mohonk will sell out for certain conferences. If Mohonk is fully booked for the conference that you are registered for, please reach out to us as soon as possible to get on the waitlist. Rooms often open up as the conference date nears, and we will coordinate with Mohonk to get attendees off the waitlist and into hotel rooms in the order they were added (by timestamp of initial contact).

Attendees are not required to stay at Mohonk Mountain House to participate in a NYSAIS conference, though in those cases, they must still contact Mohonk to register as a day guest. If you wish to reserve alternative lodging, or Mohonk is fully booked for your conference, here are some nearby options:

If you choose to stay elsewhere, you still need to register for the conference and sign up as a “day guest” at Mohonk.

If you choose to register at an alternative lodging option and join the waitlist for Mohonk, please make sure to review the alternative facility’s cancellation policy before making your selection.

If you have any dietary requirements or restrictions (vegan, Kosher, allergies, etc.), please contact Mohonk Mountain House via the email included in the attendee confirmation email.

For questions about registration, please contact us at support.nysais.org. For questions about the program, please contact Matt Suzuki.
