NYSAIS STRATEGIC VECTORS

NYSAIS is focused on propelling the association’s growth to help us evolve and remain at the forefront as a professional educational organization — all within the context of our Mission and our commitment to serve member schools.

The NYSAIS Board of Trustees approved four strategic vectors that will guide NYSAIS’ work going forward. These statements contextualize our direction and velocity, and will form the basis of our foreseeable planning.

  • Refine the mission and embody our institutional language.
  • Foster and demonstrate an expansive equity practice.
  • Facilitate member school leaders’ use of data in decision-making.
  • Deliver member value through responsive high-impact services.

These vectors will focus the energy and talent of our association in key areas that will make a difference in inspiring vital learning communities of excellence, where we can see and encourage each other to work towards a better future. The Vectors will guide us and evolve to capture new priorities and practices as new challenges and opportunities emerge. We will anticipate and respond, always with an eye on letting these channels deliver exemplary service to member schools.
